Solution 1 - Wired Connection

  • Try to connect the Belkin router to your Windows computer using an Ethernet cable.
  • Wait for three minutes, launch a web browser, and enter the Belkin router’s IP address in the address field.
  • This will open the router web page on the screen. If it does not, you have to reset the TCP/IP settings.

Resetting Windows TCP/IP Settings

  • Open the Administrator Command Prompt window on the computer and enter the ‘netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt’ command without including the single quotes.
  • When prompted, restart the Windows computer.

Solution 2 - Wi-Fi security settings

  • Navigate to the Wireless Security window and go to the Security Mode field.
  • If you see the ‘Disabled’ status, the problem is not with the security settings.
  • If the other option has been selected, note down the passphrase key.
  • You have to enter the correct key while connecting the Belkin router to the computer to fix Belkin router not showing wireless issue.

Solution 3 - Broadband settings

  • Access the web interface of the Belkin router, click Wireless -> Channel and SSID, and select the checkbox beside the Broadcast SSID option.
  • Save the broadband settings by selecting the Apply changes.

Solution 4 - Resetting The Belkin Router

  • On the web interface page of the Belkin Router, navigate to the Utilities section and click the Restore Factory Default link.
  • Select the Restore Default option followed by the OK option.
  • This will reset the Belkin router.
  • Once done with resetting it, restart the computer that is connected to it.
  • Note: The firmware of the Belkin router must be up-to-date.
