- The red light occurs on the router when there are connection issues.
- Check all the cable-related issues between the router and the modem.
- If the cable is physically damaged, replace it with a new one and check the connection.
- Try connecting the modem directly to your computer using an Ethernet cable and verify your internet connection.
- If you can’t get an active internet connection, configure the settings of the internet manually.
- Now, connect the modem and router. Then, connect your router setup to your computer.
