  • First, get two Ethernet cables.

  • On your PC, open the Google Chrome web browser.
  • In the search field of the browser, type your Linksys router’s IP address (192.168.1.1).

  • The IP address of your router will be displayed beside the Default Gateway section.

  • Click the OK or Sign in button.

  • From a list of options, select the Automatic Configuration-DHCP option.
  • Go to the DHCP Server section and click the radio button beside it.
