How To Do D-Link AC750 Router Setup?

Router Installation:

  • Remove your DSL or Cable modem from the power supply. Place your D-link router near your modem and computer.
  • Connect an Ethernet cable to the router's Internet port and connect the other end of the cable to your modem.
  • Connect another Ethernet cable between your computer and the LAN port on your router.
  • Now, plug in the power cable to the modem and turn it on. Wait until the modem gets ready.
  • After a few minutes, plug in the power adapter to your router and connect it to an electrical outlet. See if the router turns on.
  • Once the router turns on, verify whether the lights are lit up. Now, proceed to configure your router. On your computer, you can configure using the D-Link Setup Wizard or the Manual Setup.

Router Configuration:

  • Launcha web browser on your computer, enter https://dlinkrouter in the address bar.
  • You can also try using the default IP address of the router (https://192.168.0.1).
  • If you are accessing the router for the first time, the setup wizard will be launched automatically when you open the browser.
  • Now, on the Welcome screen, click Next to continue.
  • Sometimes, your router will find your Internet connection typeIf not, you have to select your Internet connection and then click Next to continue.
  • If you are using a cable modem (DHCP), then simplyclick Next. On the other hand, if you are connected to a DSL modem (PPPoE), enter your PPPoE user name and password provided by your ISP. Click Next to continue.
  • If your router finds yournetwork type automatically, then enter the Wi-Fi user name and password for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
  • Perform theinstructions displayed on the Setup Wizard to complete the configuration of your router.

Once the D-Link AC750 router setup has been completed, the Internet LED on your router will turn green, indicating that your router is connected to the Internet.
