Remove your DSL or Cable modem from the power supply. Place your D-link router near your modem and computer.
Connect an Ethernet cable to the router's Internet port and connect the other end of the cable to your modem.
Connect another Ethernet cable between your computer and the LAN port on your router.
Now, plug in the power cable to the modem and turn it on. Wait until the modem gets ready.
After a few minutes, plug in the power adapter to your router and connect it to an electrical outlet. See if the router turns on.

Sometimes, your router will find your Internet connection typeIf not, you have to select your Internet connection and then click Next to continue.
If you are using a cable modem (DHCP), then simplyclick Next. On the other hand, if you are connected to a DSL modem (PPPoE), enter your PPPoE user name and password provided by your ISP. Click Next to continue.
If your router finds yournetwork type automatically, then enter the Wi-Fi user name and password for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
Perform theinstructions displayed on the Setup Wizard to complete the configuration of your router.
Once the D-Link AC750 router setup has been completed, the Internet LED on your router will turn green, indicating that your router is connected to the Internet.
