Steps To Setup
On the box that contains the router, you can see the My D-Link Cloud Services logo. This indicates that you can remotely manage your network from any place.
Once you open the box, you can see the Quick Install Guide and the D-Link Cloud N600 DIR-826L router. On the front of the router, you will find the Power and the Internet LEDs.
At the back of your router, you can notice the following:
The USB share port
The WPS button
The 4-Gigabit LAN ports
The router comes with pre-configured security. So, on the top of the router, you can see the wireless SSID Name and the Network Key.
In the router box, you will also find the power adapter and the Ethernet cable.
The Wi-Fi configuration card also contains the wireless SSID Name and the Network Key. Below are steps to do D-Link Cloud N600 DIR-826L setup.
Check All The The Compenents In The Box Then Proceed Below
Get hold of your router, Ethernet cable, and power adapter. Turn your attention to the broadband modem.
Plug in the power adapter and connect it to the back of the router.
Remove the cord around the Ethernet cable. Connect one of the ends of your cable to the Ethernet port located at the back of the broadband modem.
Connect the Ethernet cable’s other end to the yellow Internet port located at the back of the D-Link router.
Press the Power button that is located on the back of your router. Wait patiently for the router to start up.
Now, turn your attention to the computer (that is connected to your network) with the Wi-Fi configuration card in your hand.
Even though your router has been configured with security, you have to set up the My D-Link service and then link the router to your My D-Link account.
Connect to the wireless Network Name provided on the configuration card. Also, enter the Network Key, which is again mentioned on the card.
Now, open the default web browser on the computer. The setup wizard will display automatically. Or else, type 192.168.0.1 in the address or URL bar of the browser.
You can now alter the wireless SSID name and the Network Key for each band --- the 2.4GHz band and the 5GHz band. But, it would be wise to keep this information as it is.
Do not forget to give your D-Link router a password.

In case you do not have a My D-Link account already, you simply have to use your email address, your name, and your password to create one.
When you are sure that your router has been successfully connected to your My D-Link account, you can download the My D-Link app for your iOS or Android device.
After you log into your account, you can view all your My D-Link devices. You can see the connected devices and their web history. You also have the facility to block any of these devices from accessing the Internet.
In addition, you can set up notifications to let you know whenever a new device gets connected or when a firmware update is available.
