- First, you need to place the Fios Quantum Gateway router near the computer.
- Connect the Fios Quantum router to the Internet service to the correct jack.
- Turn on the Fios Quantum router after connecting the power cord to the wall outlet.
- Wait until the router indicator light turns solid green.
- For a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable into the LAN port on the Fios Quantum router and the other end to the desktop or laptop.
- Make sure to turn the PC on before connecting the Fios Quantum router to it.
- For a wireless connection, identify the SSID and Network Key of the Fios Quantum router.
- It is available on the label located at the backside of the Fios Quantum router.
- After connecting the computer and the Wi-Fi router, identify the IP address or default gateway to open the login portal on your web browser.
- For Windows users, click the Start menu and type “cmd” in the search panel.
- From the search result, give a right-click on the Command Prompt icon and select the Run as administrator option.
