  • Open the default browser.

  • Password: password
  • Once you log in to the settings page, click the Wireless tab on the top of the page.
  • The Wireless tab will open four sub-tabs on the left side of the screen. Click on the Wi-Fi repeater option.
  • The Wireless repeater setup will be shown to you on the screen, click the Checkbox Repeater Enabled.
  • You may now enter the SSID of your router, or you can click on the Site Survey button to select the desired Access Point.
  • Once you scroll down and click the Dlink radio button, click Next.
  • Enter the Pre-shared key in the field as shown and click Next.

  • The next step is important and it is where you have to enter the desired static IP address for your D-Link router that is of the same range as the primary router.
  • Enter the subnet mask value and click the Finish button.
  • Now the configuration is finished, you can unplug the secondary router from the computer and the primary router.
