How To Set Up D-Link AC5300 Ultra Router?

The D-Link AC5300 Ultra router provides the best Wi-Fi performance. It features eight removable and adjustable external antennas.To know how to set up D-Link AC5300 Ultra router, refer to the simple steps provided on this page.

Step 1 - Unpack Your Router

Check if the following contents are included in the package.

D-Link router

Power adapter

Ethernet cable

Wi-Fi configuration card

Step 2 - Attach The Antenna

Now, attach the eight antennas to your D-Link AC5300 ultra router.

Step 3 - Unplug Modem’s Power Connection

If your DSL or cable modem’s power cord is connected to an electrical outlet, disconnect it.

Step 4 - Connecting Router To Modem

Take an Ethernet cable and connect it between your router’s Internet port and modem’s Ethernet port.

Step 7 - Turn ON Your Router

Connect the power adapter between the router’s rear port and a power outlet.
Check if the Power LED turns on. If not, press the Power button on the router’s panel.

After turning on the router, check if the Internet LED stays lit.

Step 8 - D-Link AC5300 Ultra Router Configuration

Open your favorite browser on your computer.
Type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Press Enter on the keyboard.
Choose your language and then click the Next button.
Wait until the router detects your Internet connection type automatically.
Note: If it does not, select the Static IP Address Connection option. In the Static IP field, fill all the required fields and click Next.

Create your SSID in the Wi-Fi Network Name field. Also, create a network key in the Wi-Fi Password field. Click the Next button in the Wi-Fi Settings window.
Proceed with the remaining on-screen prompts.
Check if the Internet LED turns white. This indicates that you have configured the D-Link AC5300 Ultra router successfully.

Finally, you have set up D-Link AC5300 Ultra router and you can connect your network devices to it.
