- Carefully unbox the router from its package.
- You will have a user guide for setup, Ethernet cable, and power cord included in the router package.
- Connect the Ethernet cable to the WAN port on the wireless router and connect the other end to your modem.
- Since you are knowing how to setup Belkin N150 router for the first time, connect your computer and router using an Ethernet cable.
- Connect the power cord to the rear side of the router and plug in the other end to a wall outlet.
- Turn on the router, modem and the computer.
- Type the IP address of the Belkin router in the address section of your web browser
- The default IP address is 192.168.2.1.
- Enter the login credentials like username and password of the router to log in to the router's page.
- The default login credentials of the Belkin router is admin for both username and password.
- On the Belkin router's web-based setup page, select the Wireless tab.
- Navigate to the Basic Settings section and choose the preferred settings.
- Set the Band, Mode, and other settings.
- Enter a network name in the SSID section.
