WPS, or the Wi-Fi Protected Setup, is a hardware feature that’s built-in with many modems and routers of recent times. This feature allows the network devices to get connected to the wireless networks without entering the network credentials.
WPS enables the end-users to securely connect to a Wi-Fi network, using the WPS PIN, or else by pushing a button, that’s called the Push Button Configuration (PBC).
Follow these steps to know how to setup Belkin router WPS feature to connect with various devices.
Connecting using the WPS Push Button Configuration (PBC)
Push the WPS button on the Belkin router and hold it for about two seconds.
The WPS light will glow to notify that the WPS connection has been initiated.
Similarly, push and hold the WPS button of the device that you want to connect, within two minutes of time.
The router will automatically exchange a security key and thus establish a wireless connection.
