How To Do Linksys Dual Band Router Setup?

The Linksys dual band router setup are useful when you want to connect all your devices to a single network and not have any connection issues. The dual band routers have a transfer rate of up to 300+300 Mbps for a normal home network. Set Up A Linksys Dual Band Router

  • Connect your Linksys dual band router to your modem and turn it on.
  • Turn on your Windows computer.
  • Connect the Linksys dual-band router to the computer with the help of an Ethernet cable.
  • Enter the Linksys router IP address in the address bar of a web browser on your computer and press the Enter button.
  • The Linksys router page will now open in your browser.
  • Click the Wireless tab located at the top portion of the Linksys router page.
  • Click the Manual radio button for the manual setup.
  • Now, turn on both the Wireless bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
  • You can select both the bands by selecting the Mixed option from the Network Mode drop-down list using Linksys dual band router setup

Select Disable Option From List

  • Enter the Network name in the field and the Network name will be the wireless network name (SSID) to connect your Wi-Fi devices.
  • Select the wireless channel from the drop-down list.
  • If you are using the 2.4GHz network, the recommended channels are 1, 6, 9, and 11.
  • If you are using the 5 GHz network, the recommended channels are 36, 40, 44, and 48.
  • Set the SSID broadcast option as enabled for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
  • Make sure to save the changes you have made.
  • Now the Linksys dual band router setup is completed.
