Linksys Ea6350 Reset - Complete Guide

Linksys EA6350 is a dual-band smart Wi-Fi wireless router that runs on a modest network consisting of wired and wireless clients. A single-core 800 MHz CPU powers this dual-band 802.11ac router. The router provides speed up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. It also supports beamforming, which sends the wireless signals directly to each client rather than over a broad spectrum. The router settings page includes a connectivity page, where you can change settings like DHCP settings, enable Dynamic Routing, update the firmware, and change the router password. The troubleshooting page lets you view system logs, check the status of each client, run diagnostics, configure firewall, port forwarding, VPN Passthrough, etc. As you have decided to perform Linksys EA6350 reset, before we start, you must know what happens as a result of the reset. When you reset the router, you are clearing all the settings and returning them to factory defaults (the past settings will be erased and can't be recovered ).

Things To Be Noted Down

 Linksys Ea6350 Reset

  • We recommend noting down some of the important settings that you have changed in the past. Some of them include:
  • The router’s main username and password that is used to protect the router setup pages.
  • Some of the Wi-Fi settings, such as SSID and password that are used to protect your network.
  • If you have changed any IP address, note it down before resetting the router.

Resetting Your Linksys Ea6350 Router

  • Turn on the router. You will find the reset button on the rear end of the router. Take a sharp pin or something like a straightened paperclip. Press down the reset button for at least 10 seconds.
  • Now you will see that the LED light starts blinking. If you don’t hold the reset button enough, this will automatically reboot your router, which you don't want to do.
  • As said before, every single setting will be reverted if the router is reset.
  • After the reset process gets over, log into the router using the default IP address, username, and password.
  • Now it is mandatory to change the password for security reasons.
  • These are the simple steps involved in the Linksys EA6350 reset process.
