The Dual-band Linksys EA7500 router comes with two USB ports and supports a maximum speed of up to 1300 Mbps. It comes with Beamforming technology, and thus helps in reaching the targeted device without any interference. You can improve the quality of voice, video streaming, and latency sensitive transmissions with the Beamforming support.In this guide, you’ll learn the Linksys EA7500 setup. To check the access to the Internet, connect your modem and your computer using an Ethernet cable.Note: If you do not have a modem, connect the fiber optic cable provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) directly to your computer’s Ethernet port.
Linksys EA7500 Smart Wi-Fi router setup using Smart Setup Wizard:
Plug in the router to a power source.
Press the power button to switch the router ON.
Connect an Ethernet cable from your modem to the Internet port of your Linksys EA7500 router.
Connect your computer to the router’s default Wi-Fi.
Launch the Smart Setup by entering the default IP address of the Linksys EA7500 router in your web browser’s address bar.
Linksys Smart WI-Fi Setup appears on the screen.
Select I have read and accepted the License Terms for using this software.
The option Install future router updates automatically(recommended) is checked by default under Updates for your router window.
On the next screen, enter your WI-Fi username and password in the required fields and then click Next; follow the on-screen instructions.
Now the Linksys EA7500 router setup is complete using the Smart Setup Wizard.
Set up Linksys EA7500 router using an Android device:
Note: Ensure that your Internet access is working and then power OFF the modem.
Connect your Android device to the Linksys EA7500 router’s Wi-Fi.
Open the Linksys app and select Launch Setup.
Select the I would rather set up without Bluetooth option.
Tap Agree and then select Standard Wi-Fi Router.
On the next screen, select Find my router.
Tap Continue followed by Next.
On the next screen, enter your Wi-Fi username and password in the required fields and then select Next. Now, follow the on-screen instructions.
Enter your Email Address and Password when prompted, and then tap Login.
Finally, tap OK.
Now the Linksys EA7500 setup is complete using an Android device and hopefully, you should be able to access the Internet by connecting to the Linksys EA7500.
