If you are worried about what your children will browse on the internet, you can monitor them using the Linksys router. You can also use this feature for your company to track your employees’ browsing logs. Proceed with the steps given below to know your Linksys router monitor internet activity.

  • Make sure that you have connected your device to the wireless router's network. Otherwise, connect the device to the router using an Ethernet cable.
  • Turn on the Linksys router to check the internet activity from your Linksys router.
  • Type the IP address of the Linksys router in the address bar of your web browser.
  • Log in using the network credentials of the Linksys router. The default username and password will be available on the router's label.
  • On the router's page, navigate to the Administration tab and select Log.
  • Change the settings from Disabled to Enabled by selecting it. Then, click the Save Changes button.
  • Now, you can view the incoming and outgoing logs by clicking on the View Log button in the Log section.
  • You can choose the type of log you want to monitor from the drop-down menu.
  • Select the Incoming Log option to view the track of users using the internet through your Linksys router.
  • Outgoing Log helps to monitor outgoing traffic and check a website on a computer.
  • Security Log shows the users who logged in to to the router's setup page.
  • The DHCP server status info is shown in the DHCP Client Log.
  • Click on the Save the Log button to save the information list of the monitored traffic.
