- Unpack your router and connect it to your modem using the supplied network cable. This cable should be connected to the router's Internet port.
- Take a standard Ethernet cable and connect your computer's Ethernet port to the router's LAN port.
- Turn on your modem, router, and computer.

- On your Windows computer, launch the default browser and enter your router's IP address in the URL field. Hit Enter to access the Smart Setup page.
- You can identify the IP address from your router's label.
- Agree to the EULA and select the checkbox on the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Setup page.
