Physical setup

  • Turn off your modem, computer, and the Linksys router if they are turned on.
  • Now, connect your Linksys WRT51AB router to the computer using an Ethernet cable.

  • Now, turn on your modem followed by the Linksys router.
  • Once the router’s LED becomes green, turn on your computer.

  • If prompted, type the default credentials of the router.
  • On the router’s web access page, click on the Setup tab.
