Use Of Linksys Router Traffic Monitor

Linksys router is one of the most widely used routers all around the world. The Linksys Wi-Fi router helps you to get 2 Wi-Fi networks on two different frequencies. Most of us might have encountered network traffic issues. The network traffic could occur due to reasons like low bandwidth, multicasting, outdated hardware, bad configuration management, rogue adapter broadcasts, adding retransmitting hubs, and more. Here we are not going to see how to fix the network traffic issue, but using Linksys router traffic monitor you can avoid the network traffic in the future. The steps given here can be used to monitor the network traffic on a Linksys router’s network.

  • Launch a web browser application on your computer.
  • Enter the IP address of your Linksys router.
  • Tap the Enter button.
  • When prompted, enter your router’s login credentials.
  • Once you reach the router’s web access page, click the Administration tab.
  • Select the Log sub-tab.
  • Now, choose the Enabled option by clicking the radio button beside it.
  • After enabling it, click the Save Settings button.
  • Now, click the View Log command.
  • The two sections, Type and Security Log, will be displayed below the Log title.
  • Log types such as Incoming Log, Outgoing Log, Security Log, and DHCP Client Log will be available under the Log type drop-down menu.
  • Select the Log type you wish to monitor.
  • Click the Save the Log button
  • If required, you can also use the Refresh and Clear buttons to refresh and clear the logs. These are uses of Linksys router traffic monitor.
