- First, get connected to your router’s network.
- Turn on Wi-Fi and select your network name from the displayed list. Enter the password of your network. Click on the Connect button.
- Enter the login credentials of the router.
- If you have not yet changed the network credentials, enter the default username and password.
- Type the username of the router as admin. Enter the password as password into the Netgear router Ddns setup.
- Click the Advanced tab, then select the Advanced Setup option.
- Choose Dynamic DNS. Ensure that the ‘Use a Dynamic DNS Service’ option is selected.
- Check whether the Netgear option is selected from the drop-down list next to Service Provider.
- In the ‘Do you have a NETGEAR DDNS or a No-IP DDNS account?’ section, click on the No radio button.
- Enter the domain name, email address, and password of your account.
- Click on the Register button. You will now get a successful message on your email. Click OK.
- Open the email message received from Netgear and click on the activation link.
