- First, reset the printer to the default factory settings.
- The factory reset will defer depending on the printer you use.
- In general, select the Reset or Restore to Factory defaults option on the control panel of the printer.
- This will reset the printer to factory defaults.
- If so, update the firmware of the Netgear router.
- Go to the web-based setup page of the Netgear router, navigate to the Router Settings page, and click the Check for Updates option.
- If the firmware update is available for the Netgear router, click the Update option.
- Check if the interface connected to the Netgear router from the printer is secured at both ends.
- If the interface cable is damaged, replace it with a new one and check if the problem has been resolved.
- If you see any error on the control panel of the printer, try to resolve it and then establish the connection between the Netgear router and the printer.
