Setting up a new Netgear router is quite simple. If you own a Netgear Smart Wi-Fi AC1600 router, then follow the simple instructions given here to set it up and access the Internet after the Netgear smart wifi Ac1600 setup.
Step 1: Unpack the router
The first step in setting up your Netgear Smart WiFi AC1600 router is to unpack the product box.
Inside the product box you will find a power adapter and an Ethernet cable along with the router.Take out the router and its accessories from the product box.
Step 2: Position the router
After unpacking the router, place it in a central location.
Make sure it is placed near a power socket and your modem.
Step 3: Cable connections to the router
See if your modem is turned on. If yes, remove the power cord from the modem.

The router will now connect to the Internet.
However, you can also set up the Internet settings on the router manually by logging into the router web interface. Once the Internet settings have been configured, log into the router web interface, navigate to the Wireless section and configure Wi-Fi. Finally finish the Netgear smart wifi Ac1600 setup.
