As soon as you experience your Spectrum router parental controls not working or stopped working, make sure that the Parental Controls option is enabled.
To check it, open a web browser on your system.
Enter your Spectrum router’s IP address in the search field.
Now, a login pop-up dialog box will appear on the screen.
Enter your Spectrum router’s default credentials in the given fields.
If you have changed the default credentials, then enter them in the given fields and click the Login button.
On the Spectrum router’s web access page, locate and click the Settings & Support option followed by Parental Controls.
Enable the ON option and click the SAVE button.
Now, check if Parental Control is active.
If not, check if there is a firmware update available for your Spectrum router.
If available, update the firmware and then check if the issue is resolved.
