- Check whether you have properly connected the modem and router.
- Make sure you have not set any limitation to the number of devices that can be connected at a time to the router. If so, remove the connection restriction and check if the issue has been resolved.
- Make sure that the wireless network connection is set correctly to obtain the IP address automatically.
- Press the Windows and R buttons together to launch the Run dialog box.
- Type cmd in the Search section and click on the OK button.
- In the Command Prompt window, enter ipconfig and hit the Enter key.
- You can find the IP address of the TP-Link router in the Default Gateway section.
- If you find that the IP address is 169.254.xxx.xxx, renew your IP address.
- Type ipconfig-renew in the Command Prompt window to get the proper IP address.
