Verizon Router Dhcp Settings

Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is server settings available in all the broadband routers. This setting will help you to assign an IP address to the computer or any other devices on your LAN, i.e., Local Area Network. You can add or delete a connection based on your desire.   • First, connect your computer to the Verizon router via a wired or wireless connection.
  • Now, launch a web browser on your computer.
  • Type the Verizon router’s IP address in the address bar.
  • Press the Enter button.
  • Now, your Verizon router’s home page will appear on the screen.
  • Locate and click the My Account & Tools tab.
  • Enter your Verizon account password in the given field.
  • Click the Sign In button.
  • Now, your Verizon router’s web access page will appear on the screen.
  • Click the Router Settings tab, followed by Advanced.
  • Click the LAN option seen below the Advanced tab.
  • Locate the Use Router as DHCP Server option and click the checkbox beside it to enable it.
  • To add an IP address, click the Add button in the Address Reservation table.
  • Move to the Device Name section.
  • Enter the device name or IP address in the given field and click Add.
  • If you wish to edit the assigned address values, choose the device from the list.
  • Click the Edit button.
  • Enter the IP address as per your desire.
  • Make sure to enter the Mac address correctly.
  • After modifying the required data, click the Apply button.
  • Similarly, you can add one or more devices to the DHCP settings.
  • If you want to remove any device, choose the device from the list.
  • Click the Delete button.
