  • To turn off the bridge mode, enter the IP address of your Xfinity router in your browser.
  • Navigate to the router’s Admin Tool to disable bridge mode.
  • Enter the username and password correctly. Note: Type the username as admin and password is password.
  • If you have changed the admin password earlier, then make sure to enter the correct password.
  • Select the Gateway tab on the left panel. Go to the At a Glance section.
  • Click Enable next to the Bridge mode section.
  • When the Enabling Bridge mode dialog box appears on the screen, click on the OK button.
  • To disable bridge mode, select the Disable option.
  • Reboot your router, modem, and computer. Now, verify whether the Internet issue is resolved.
  • If the issue persists, then factory reset your router.
  • Locate the Reset button on the router and hold it for a few seconds.
  • When the resetting process is complete, you have to reconfigure the router.
